IMS bearing (1997–2008 M96 / M97)
The intermediate shaft bearing on early water-cooled 911s and Boxsters is a known failure point. We diagnose, perform IMS retrofits with upgraded bearings, and document properly for resale value.
RMS / rear main seal leak
M96/M97 rear main seal leaks are common at 60k+ miles. We address with the engine in or out depending on extent, and reseal with the upgraded OEM Porsche seal.
Water pump & thermostat service
Plastic-impeller water pumps fail catastrophically. We replace with genuine Porsche metal-impeller units and always replace the thermostat at the same time.
PCM / module updates via PIWIS
PCM updates, navigation maps, and module reflashes performed via Porsche PIWIS factory tooling. Full coding and adaptation done on-site.
Air-oil separator (AOS)
AOS failure causes excessive oil consumption and smoke. We replace with the updated Porsche unit and verify proper PCV operation post-install.
Cayenne / Macan suspension service
Air suspension, height sensors, and PASM modules need diagnosis with PIWIS. We service with genuine Porsche parts and proper calibration.
